On February 27, 2026, Double Quarter Pounders (FTC 23928) brought robotics to life at Colvin Run Elementary School's STEAM Night. Our team set up an interactive station in the gymnasium where students, parents, and teachers could get up close with our competition robot and see real engineering in action.

Younger students navigated our robot through an obstacle course of traffic cones, took turns at the gamepad, and peppered our members with questions about motors, code, and what it's like to compete. It was one of our favorite kinds of outreach — no slides, just hands-on excitement.

Events like STEAM Night remind us why we do this. Every kid who leaves curious about engineering is a win. We're already looking forward to coming back next year.
